This catering service, found in the village house of Ruhtinansalmi, provides services to party-goers and holidaymakers alike. Merja Karjalainen will set the table with tasty and nutritious home food and prepare tailored banquets according to the customer’s wishes. The food can be served at the village house or in the customer’s own premises. The catering service also rents the Ahonranta cottage, located by the lake scenery of Ruhtinansalmi, around the year.

Pitopalvelu Merja.Kieppi will prepare a delicious meal for you to enjoy in your holiday apartment or during a picnic outdoors. Please make your booking one day in advance.

Guided tours and excursions


Merja Karjalainen will be happy to join you as a guide on mushroom and berry-picking and wild herb excursions. Customers are also taken fishing and hunting on the basis of separate orders.

Cooking courses


The cooking courses focus on a variety of themes, from vegetarian dishes to ethnic kitchens. The courses can be held at the Ruhtinansalmi village house or in the customer’s own premises.

Accommodation


The Ahonranta cottage, made from lamella logs, is rented to groups of 2+5. The cottage can be booked through Lomarengas using the code/cottage number 6965. Ahonranta is located 35 kilometres away from Hossa National Park.
